Your Safety
If you're in immediate danger, call or text 988, or call 911.
You don't need to finish a check-in, open the app, or explain anything first.
RiseWell is not monitored.
That means:
- Nobody is watching check-in answers as they come in.
- No one at your community center gets an alert based on how you answer.
- RiseWell cannot see who you are, and cannot send help to you.
- There is no question in the check-in that asks about self-harm or suicide. Everyone who finishes a check-in sees the same information on this page, whether they need it or not.

Talking to someone at your community center
If you'd rather talk to a staff member you trust in person, that's a good option too. Keep in mind that conversation works differently than the app: RiseWell itself never knows who you are, but a staff member you talk to directly will, and normal safety rules for adults working with kids may apply to what they do with that conversation.
The "Get help now" button
Every screen in RiseWell has a "Get help now" button. It opens this same information immediately, no matter where you are in the check-in.
